Essential Functions:

Supervision and Support: Provide clinical supervision and support to a team of float counselors. Provide clinical supervision and support to interns as assigned by Program Director. Plan and coordinate all trainings (e.g. TCI, CPR/First Aid, Mandated Reporter, etc.). Attend and assist in all school functions. Support the day to day operations in compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide post crisis response for residential team members. Participate in committees across program (e.g. Celebrations & Traditions, Anti-Racism).

Personnel Coordination/ Scheduling: Facilitate and assist in coordinating orientation and in-service training of residential staff. Complete staffing schedule for Dormitory Counselors to ensure adequate monitoring and support to provide for therapeutic and safety needs of students. Maintain schedules that include vacation, sick, and personal time off requests of staff.  

Milieu Maintenance: Assist CIL team in maintaining communication across all aspects of the milieu. Participate in the development of policies and procedures for all-school programming and individual dorm programming. Model therapeutic and effective interactions with students. Complete other duties as assigned by the Program Director, including but not limited to CIL shifts as needed.

Schedule: Will run in coordination with/opposite of Program Director, weekdays/weekends (exact hours TBD) and attendance at all parent events is required

Education/Experience Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or Social Services is required. Three years related work experience. Prior supervisory experience a plus.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Strong interpersonal skills required.

Ability to develop reports and maintain records required.

Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality while handling sensitive situations required.

Ability to handle tasks requiring a high level of attention to detail required.
