Position Summary: Part Time - 15 - 20 hours/week

The Outcomes and Data Analyst will report to, and work with, the Director of Compliance to build and maintain an electronic database that facilitates collection, aggregation, review, and reporting on data related to various continuous Quality Improvement (QI) plans. The Outcomes and Data Analyst will use school data to measure data-driven outcomes related to the Orthogenic School's current student body and alumni.  This data will be clinical, educational, medical, and administrative in nature. 

As this database/QI system is developed, with an emphasis on incorporating the school's existing electronic records systems, the Data Analyst will manage and analyze collected data, using statistical techniques. The Data Analyst will also be responsible for creating ongoing informational data reports highlighting any trends/patterns in data for the school's administration and staff to use for clinical and QI related decisions.  

Position Salary & Benefits:  Hourly position - $16-$20/hour

Skills and knowledge Requirements:

  • Work or academic experience in statistics, or as a Data Analyst
  • Technical expertise related to database design and data mining/analysis
  • Knowledge of statistics - expertise in analyzing large datasets (using Excel, SPSS)
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to collect, organize, and analyze information
  • Skilled in report writing, synthesizing data in order to make it relatable, and "tell the school's story"
  • Experience collaborating with others in order to gain insight into school operations, goals, and needs

 Education/Experience Minimum Requirements:

  • Some college coursework required, ideally BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics

Physical Effort:

Ability to bend, crouch, or stoop Ability to sit for 4 hours or more

Ability to use computers extensively for 2 hours to 4 hours

Ability to climb stairs up to 2 stories Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform job

Ability to perform strenuous physical exertion at times Ability to push/pull objects of 25 to 49 lbs.

Ability to safely defend self/or others in hostile, combative situations Ability to use standard work station equipment Ability to use standard office equipment
